The New York Times

The best part about the weekend?  The NY Times is delivered right to our apartment door!  Dad likes to read the sports section, mom reads the Sunday Styles- I like the front page.  I love the way the paper crinkles in my hands.  I try to eat the paper too, but mom says that's not a good idea...

My new chair

Since I liked the vibrating chair at Grammy and Gramps's house in the Desert, mom and dad bought me one for here in NYC. I like to shout at the bears that dangle in front of me. The chair is also very soft and comfy, so I fall asleep in it alot.

Rolling Over

Since tummy time has become child's play for me, I have decided to start rolling over. Today, when my mommy placed me in my baby gym on my tummy, I simply flopped over onto my back... Ha, I showed her a thing or two! And I didn't even cry!

Sitting like a big girl

I am not ready to eat solid food, but I do like to sit at the table with my parents. Last night, instead of sitting in mom or dad's lap, I used my own chair. I played with my new Easter lamb, I talked, I watched mom and dad. It was great! After about five minutes, though, I became quite exhausted from all that sitting up!! So it was off to bed for me.

The Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny visited my apartment today- I got a basket full of goodies. I think this Easter thing will be more fun though, when I'm old enough to eat candy and go on Easter egg hunts!

Still it was a great day- I went to brunch in the city with my parents, and Grammy & Gramps, and then I got to take a car ride!!! to Long Island for a traditional Polish Easter dinner.

I slept through quite a bit of the day, so I was ready to rock when we got home!

Grammy's Other House

Whew! The last week was a busy one! I traveled all the way across the country to Grammy & Gramps's other house, in California. My mommy, cousins, Grammy, and Aunt Patricia came too! In addition, I got to see Uncle Stefan, and my Aunts Mish and Dimps (they haven't seen me since I was born, so they super were impressed with how much I've grown).
All in all, I the trip was a blast- I just love to be on the go! Here are the highlights from the trip.

This is Cassidy in the exersaucer Uncle Stefan and Aunt Dimps gave me- I think she liked it more than me and Talulah!
Mommy & Me in the pool- I went in twice! It was kind of like a big bathtub, but a little cooler, and definately more scenic!

Lounging by the pool with my 'cuz Tula... Grammy and Gramps had stocked the house with tons of toys for us- this vibrating chair was totally my fav!

Tula, Grammy, & Me. We both started crying at the same time, so Grammy picked both of us up- she's the best (fyi: Tula does not usually cry, but she was having some teething difficulties).

Aunt Mish & Me. She is so cool and beautiful- I love her!

I am a Fashionista

New York is arguably the fashion capital of the world, and I am constantly inspired by all the great looks I see on streets. Here is my newest look- my Uggs (just like the big girls wear; sooo comfy), with my Polo onesie tucked in. I popped the collar to finish the look... pretty great huh? I love clothes so much!!

The Gym

My mom and dad recently picked up a baby gym for me at Ikea. It's super fun- really colorful, with all kinds of exciting things to look at- when they put me in it I kick and grab and oh and ah like crazy. I am a total jock just like my parents!
However, sometimes it's so stimulating I exhaust myself! The other day I fell asleep right on the floor of the living room. Mom thought that was pretty funny, so she took a couple of pictures, then picked me up and carried me to my bed. I was a little disoriented when I finally woke up, but well rested all the same.

Godmother Michelle

This is Aunt Michelle. She is my mom's best friend- she was so excitied to meet me, she flew all the way from a place called Denver to visit. Aunt Michelle is the coolest person I have ever met- she even taught me how to touch my toes to my head- how awesome is that?! I can't wait til she comes to visit again.

The Weiss Girls

I am a very lucky girl- I have not one, but two girl first cousins! Here I am with Talulah and Cassidy after Talulah's baptism- pretty good photo opp don't you think?
I can't tell you much about the ceremony, because I slept through the whole thing, but the party afterwards was pretty sweet. I got held by alot of people, and Talulah and I got to take a nap together. Her crib is really cool, it has green and white bumpers, and this aquarium thing that plays music. I liked it almost as much as my Peter Cottontail mobile at home! Here's to the Weiss girls ruling the world- muhahaha!

I went to Mommy's Office

Today was a big day- I got to go have lunch with mommy and her friends at the Conde Nast Cafeteria. It was amazing! Plus I got to go for a ride in the stroller! Mommy says a very famous architect, Frank O. Gehry, designed the place. Whatever- I just thought the lights and glass were cool.
On the way home, we ran into another one of mom's friends, Ava. Aunt Ava does PR for J&J, and she insisted we take home a bunch of samples :) Boy am I lucky to know so many neat people.
Here I am with some of my favs from Johnsons!
